ONE DAY, BUT NOT JUST YET

I know I kind of fell off the face of the planet for a while with updating my blogs, but as this new year starts I just want to give everyone who reads this a quick update.

First of all, let me start by saying sorry, to all who wanted to know what was going on, but were too polite to ask.  Also, thank you for being patient.

Here is the story.  At the first blood test we found out that at least one of the embryos did implant and started to develop, but somewhere along the way the little guy did not make it and we ended up with what is called a chemical pregnancy.  A chemical pregnancy is just another term for a very early miscarriage or having a blood test pregnancy that never is able to make it to an ultrasound.   The doctors had me go on bed rest (again) for another week and then retest the blood to see what was happening with my pregnancy levels.

At the second blood test, the pregnancy levels had decreased from their already very low state, and so they had me stop all the medications.

A couple months later we were able to implant our frozen embryo, and that little guy never implanted.

I know that someday Andy and I will be blessed with little angels of our own, but until that time comes we will enjoy each other, and continue to enjoy discovering more of this beautiful, amazing and diverse planet that was created for us.  At this point in our baby adventure, we will be taking a break.  Hormonally me and my body need a break, and emotionally it will be good for both of us.  Thank you everyone for your prayers and support.

Until next time...
